The Skeeters Will Appreciate Area Teachers in June
Kudos to the Sugar Land Skeeters for planning to appreciate teachers after the school year ends. On Thursday, June 2, teachers who present a valid teaching ID at the ticket office will receive two free tickets to the club's game against the New Britain Bees. The game is scheduled to start at 7:05 at Constellation Field.

Martin Wall Moving on from Scarborough
According to his Twitter feed, Martin Wall is leaving his position as Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach at Scarborough High School. Wall will be coaching at Langham Creek High School in the Cy-Fair School District.
Wall is completing his third season as the Spartans' basketball coach and first as the Athletic Director. In 2014-15, he led the basketball team to the first play-off victory in school history.

Spartan Band Rocks Out at Stevens' Science Night
It was great to see and hear the Scarborough High School Band at Stevens Elementary's Science Night Tuesday night. The band played for about 45 minutes and provided a great backdrop to the night's scientific fun.

Spartans Baseball in Play-offs on Friday
Scarborough's baseball team finished fourth in District 22-4A and will participate in the play-offs beginning this week. The Spartans are scheduled to take on Bellville, the District 21-4A champion. The two teams will face off in a one-game "series". The game will take place Friday, May 6 at 6 pm at Bellville High School.
