Tauser's Song Appears on KTRH

In February 2010, Mike attached a song entitled I've Been Everywhere...Houston to an application for a traffic reporter position at KTRH, which happens to be the flagship station for Houston Astros baseball. He didn't get the position, but several people in the KTRH offices were impressed. The song was aired by Michael Berry on KTRH. Berry is a former Houston city councilman and a current mover and shaker in Houston. Further, a slide show was added to Mike's audio and the finished product received rave reviews on the station's blog.

Aluminum Can Music Man

From May 2010-June 2012, Mike was the creator/promoter of the ALUMINUM CAN MUSIC MAN project.  With one cape, one guitar and a pocket-ful of Green Songs, ACMM encouraged recycling at Helms Elementary(HISD) and throughout the Houston area.  This project, which was generously supported by C&D Scrap Metal and other green-minded individuals and organizations, included cartoons, live performances, can drives and Earth Day at the Ballpark.  The project was twice awarded the (Houston) Mayor's Proud Partners Award-Honorable Mention.

You can read more about the project online at The Secret Lair.
