Lyles Finally Gets to Pitch in Atlanta

Jordan Lyles, who is off to a 5-1 start with a 3.50 ERA for Colorado will pitch tonight in Atlanta for the first time in his career.  The Rockies website has a story about his homecoming.

Lyles grew up in Hartsville, South Carolina, which is about 300 miles from Atlanta, and a large contingent of his family and friends are making the trip to Turner Field.

When he was with Houston, Lyles made his first start at Minute Maid Park against Atlanta in June 2011. Although he traveled to Atlanta with the Astros, he never got the opportunity to pitch.
