The Houston Cougars(44-15) and Rice Owls(41-18) won their respective conference tournaments and will be participating in the Regional round of the NCAA Baseball Tournament this weekend. Rice's Reckling Park will serve as a regional host between Friday and Monday(June 2). Houston will find out their assignment Monday morning at 11 am on ESPNU.
Houston knocked off Louisville 10-4 in Clearwater, Florida. The win gave the Cougars the American Athletic Conference Tournament title.
Rice defeated UT-San Antonio 11-5 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to claim the C-USA Tournament crown. The Owls have won that title six times.
