The Spartans opened and closed the last week on a high note. On Monday, they knocked of Furr High School in their district-opening game. The Spartans lost their first two games of the Sweeny Tournament. However, they bounced back to win two games on Saturday and finish the tournament with a 2-2 record. Scarborough heads into this week with an over-all record of 8-3.
